امام علی می فرماید : Imam Ali says

در فریب آرزوها، عمرها به پایان مى رسد.

In deceiving dreams, lives come to an end

امام حسن فرمود : Imam Hassan said

صبر و شکیبائی زینت شخص، وفای به عهد علامت جوانمردی، و عجله و شتابزدگی دلیل بی خردی می باشد.

Patience and patience are the adornment of a person, fidelity to the covenant is a sign of chivalry, and haste is the reason for irrationality

امام حسین فرمود:Imam Hussein said

امام حسین (ع) فرمود: «کسى که براى جلب رضایت مردم، موجب غضب خدا شود، خداوند او را به مردم وا مى‏ گذارد

Those who annoy God in order to please the people, God will leave them to the people

امام هادی فرمودند :Imam Hadi said

 

کسانی که بر طریق خداپرستی محکم و استوار باشند، مصائب دنیا بر آنها سبک آید، گر چه تکه تکه شوند.

Those who are firm and steadfast in the way of godliness will be lightened by the sufferings of the world, even if they are torn to pieces

امام هادی فرمودند :Imam Hadi said

دنیا همانند بازارى است که عدّه اى در آن  سود مى برند و عدّه اى دیگر ضرر و خسارت متحمّل مى شوند.

The world is like a market in which some people benefit and others suffer losses

امام علی فرمودند :Imam Ali said

 

کار کنید و آن را به پایانش رسانید و در آن پایداری کنید؛‌ آن گاه شکیبایی ورزید و پارسا باشید. همانا شما را پایانی است؛ پس، خود را به آن پایان  رسانید.

Work and finish it and persevere in it; ‌ Then be patient and pious. It is the end for you; So, finish it yourself.

امام حسن عسکری علیه السلام فرمودند: Imam Hassan Askari said

 

عبادت کردن به زیادی روزه و نماز نیست، بلکه عبادت، زیاد در کار خدا اندیشیدن است .

Worship is not so much fasting and prayer, but worship is thinking a lot about God's work.
